Looks like the streets of Texarkana may be a little safer today.
The last few years I have been a bit nervous to travel on Stateline Ave late at night. When my son and wife were in Wadley, after the premature birth of my son, I would visit well after 10pm.

We pride ourselves on being a town full of friendly people.
Tomorrow Saturday Oct 1st, we will begin our annual Oktoberfest. It begins with the pancake breakfast and continues until the street dance.

Come on down and watch the parade, the parade begins at 10am, but you can come early and eat a good home cooked pancake breakfast at the Firehouse.
